About RDOF
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) to award up to $20.4 billion for support of broadband infrastructure deployment and network operations over a 10-year period. Etheric is awaiting a decision from the California Public Utilities Commission on the status of our ETC designation. This is the final step for our $248 million support to build out gigabit services to underserved communities in 23 California counties.
